As a Junior Application Expert, you will work from our global headquarters and you will be responsible for providing technical support in the implementation of our IFS application, with special attention to data entry and data migration processes. IFS is an extensive ERP system used by our Lely Centers to manage business processes related to the technical service we provide to our end customers, the farmers. You will provide support to our colleagues in the Lely Centers all over the world, work closely with other team members and stakeholders, solve technical problems, and ensure that data is entered correctly and effectively migrated from the old ERP systems to IFS.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve technical problems related to the IFS software application.
- Provide support for data entry and data migration processes during the implementation of the IFS application.
- Provide technical support to the Lely Centers worldwide.
- Collaborate with the technical team and stakeholders to ensure that the IFS application is working properly.
- Continually improve our processes to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Participate in writing technical modifications to the software application in Java and SQL.
A part of this role is 24/7 support. This is currently arranged as a week from Monday to Monday, during which you are available by phone to provide support. Of course, we will ensure that you are fully prepared before you participate in this rotation.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with IT, who wants to develop on-the-job and wants to grow along with the technical innovations that Lely brings. Further:
- Bachelor or Master degree, working and thinking level.
- Strong affinity with IT, you don't need much time to understand applications.
- Knowledge of Java and SQL or willing to learn this quickly on-the-job.
- Since we provide support worldwide, your English language skills are well developed.
- You think in challenges and solutions, if something doesn't work out immediately, you don't give up quickly.
- Of course, it would be nice if you know IFS, but it's certainly not necessary.
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
