- Driving a variety of vehicles, such as cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, etc.
- Picking up and dropping off passengers or cargo at the specified locations and times.
- Planning the best routes and following the traffic rules and regulations.
- Checking the vehicle’s condition and performing basic maintenance tasks, such as refueling, cleaning, and repairing.
- Reporting any accidents, damages, or malfunctions to the supervisor or the owner.
- Keeping records of the mileage, expenses, and deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of the clients.
To be a driver, one should have the following skills and qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- A good knowledge of the area roads, landmarks, and navigation systems.
- A physical and mental fitness and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- A punctual, reliable, and courteous attitude and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate or diploma in a related field.
