Job Description
As a Planning Manager, you will report directly to the Planning Director, manage the planning teams across several sites, to cover these following tasks:
- Ensure the consistence of all planning processes in several factories. Lead the factory planning teams to achieve their highest level of product availability by managing their KPIs, provide problem solving, ensuring implementation of all procedures within the supply base.
- Build, develop and lead the planning team.
- Drive the decisions within the respective factories in ensuring that planning directions are executed to best satisfy customer demands while taking into consideration all possible manufacturing constraints
- Monitor and communicate factors likely to impact the delivery performance and improve actions plan with Operations Managers, Functional departments, and Factory Management.
- Lead cross functional team in identifying bottlenecks and complexities on critical materials and implement corrective actions to improve the overall delivery performance.
- Manage stakeholders in implementing planning process improvement and ensuring that production priorities are executed.
- Assist in rolling out global initiatives, participating as project member or subject matter expert on global scale projects.
- Manage and audit suppliers regarding capacity, order confirmation, product transfer execution, and overall planning reliability.
- Drive a customer focused mindset across the factories to improve overall satisfaction level of the sales organizations.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in related areas, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience.
- Proven track records in planning within the manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong in Microsoft office skills
- Fluent in English
